Special Announcement

Reverend Camp is currently pursuing her Doctor of Ministry degree at Liberty University. She is currently recruiting research participants to participate in her thesis project entitled “An Assessment of the Millennial Body and Its Place in the Local Church.” Are you a millennial (25-40 years of age), an ordained elder or deacon, licensed minister, or a lay leader at Simon Temple? Would you like to see more millennial participation and involvement at Simon Temple? If you answered “yes” to either of these questions, your assistance is very much needed. This project aims to attract and involve millennial members to grow and revitalize Simon Temple’s young adult ministry. If you would like to participate in this project study, please contact Rev. Camp at (910) 964-1623 or at jlcamp@liberty.edu for more information.

Oct 2—We are having a Community Cookout for the members of Simon Temple in the church parking lot on Saturday at 11:30 am. We are inviting the surrounding community Foxfire, Ponderosa & Cottonade subdivisions. This will be a sit-down and drive-thru event with food, giveaways, the Fayetteville-Raeford Cares Mobile Mentoring Bus and the FSU “Beyond the Beside” Mobile Health Unit. Come out and enjoy the fellowship, food and fun!
