YACM (Young Adult Christian Ministries): Young Adults ages 18 to 40, please sign up online or using the electronic terminals in the lobby or church office in order for us to make contact with each that we will be able to better serve your spiritual needs. Focus Groups: If you desire to participate in upcoming focus groups that will cover topics such as: “Effective Prayer, Renewal & Restoration, How to Successfully Practice the Spiritual Disciplines, and Young Adult Ministry-Related Topics,” please sign up online or using the electronic terminals in the lobby or church office.

Hospitality Ministry: Members interested in becoming a part of the Hospitality Ministry, please sign up online or electronically via our kiosks in the sanctuary on Sunday or in the church office during the week.

Attention: If you want to sponsor the flowers in the chapel baskets in the New Sanctuary “In Honor of” or “In Memory of” a loved one on an upcoming Sunday, please contact the church office at (910) 867-1182. Cost: $100.

Youth Worship Service is on 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th Sundays at 11am in the New Fellowship Hall! Youth 6th grade and above are encouraged to join us for the Word, Topic Discussions Relevant to Youth, Fellowship, & Fun!!

Be a part of the WIDU Mass Choir, under the direction of Rodney Raines and Will Harris, and have the opportunity to perform during this year’s Anniversary event. The remaining practices will take place here at Simon Temple on the following Mondays: September 11th, 18th, 25th and October 25th with each rehearsal beginning promptly at 6:30 pm. Join this awesome choir and exercise your gift!

Sep 17 – Today is Christian Education Sunday. This year’s theme focuses on “Credibility.” Scripture: Matthew 5:14 – 16. Question for thought: “Are you a credible Christian and Witness during your walk with Jesus?”

Sep 18—New Members Orientation Class – Parts 1 will be held in the New Fellowship Hall at 6 pm. Contact Sis. Gentry in the church office to register.

Sep 18—The Usher Board will meet tomorrow in the New Sanctuary at 6:00 pm. Following a brief meeting, there will be an Usher Training Session. ALL Senior and Adult Ushers are expected to attend.

Sep 23—The Men’s Ministry of Simon Temple will be taking a deep-sea fishing trip to Wrightsville Beach. Cost is $100 per person which includes all bait and gear for fishing. Cleaning of fish and food for purchase will be available on the boat at cost. Please Google: Vonday Kay Charter Fishing for more details. Limited slots available. Sep 23—Simon Temple will have a Wills Preparation Seminar in the New Fellowship Hall at 10 am.

Sep 24—Pastor Thompson will be preaching in Greensboro, NC at Trinity AME Zion Church at 3 pm. Sign up online or on the electronic terminals in the lobby and the church office.

Sep 28—The Fayetteville District Planning meeting will be held at Simon Temple in the New Fellowship Hall at 7 pm.
