Aug 21—Simon Temple will host a Town Hall meeting and discussions with NC State Representative Billy Richardson in the New Fellowship Hall on Monday, August 21st. The Meet & Greet will be from 6:00 pm – 6:30 pm and the discussions will be from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm. Topics being discussed will range from Citizen Concerns, Education, and Redistricting to Water Quality.
Aug 22—The Trustee and Steward Boards will meet with Pastor in the New Fellowship Hall from 6:30-8:00 pm. All members of these boards are expected to attend
Aug 23—The Simon Temple Youth Department will have a Back-to-School Cookout at 6:30 pm. All youth (6th grade and up) are invited to attend.
Aug 24— Prayer Evangelism Drive-Thru will be held in the Simon Temple parking lot from 11 am-4 pm. Prayer partners are needed. Sign up in the church lobby. POCs: Sis. Jonette Camp & Sis. Donelle Simmons
Aug 25—Pastor Thompson will be preaching at the Palmetto Conference Evangelism Summit at Jones Memorial AME Zion Church 2400 Barhamville Road Columbia, SC at 7:30 pm. We need choir members and ushers to accompany Pastor. Please sign up via SecureGive. Bus will be leaving at 4 pm.
Aug 26—The Marriage Ministry Family Fun, Walk, Run & Bike-a-Thon will be at the Cape Fear Trail at J. Bayard Clark Park & Nature Center located at 631 Sherman Drive, Fayetteville, NC off Ramsey Street at 8:00 am. All married couples and their families are welcome to come out and join us. There will be a fellowship breakfast afterwards at each individual’s expense. Please stay tuned for more details on the location for the breakfast.

Sep 1-3—The Southeastern Region Young Adult Christian Ministry (YACM) Retreat will take place at both New Bethel AME Zion and Simon Temple AME Zion Churches. Sep 23—The Men’s Ministry of Simon Temple will be taking a deep-sea fishing trip to Wrightsville Beach. Cost is $100 per person which includes all bait and gear for fishing.
